Young and upcoming tattoo artist also known as “Shino” has a passion
for art no matter if it’s on canvas, wall or body. Shino was born in
Mexico CIty but moved to California at the age of three. A few years
after his family decided to move to New Jersey. Since he was born in
Mexico City he barely new any English so he couldn’t communicate with
the other children so he focused on drawing.His family recognized his
passion for his art work. Shino sawt out inspiration from his own
uncle’s drawings. Shino has lived in the Bronx since the age of
twelve, and since then he has started his road to recognition by
accumulating awards for his art in grade school. He won first place in
every school competition he entered. He then got inspired by an
airbrush artist who opened his eyes to the graffiti world. His passion
and hunger grew stronger and at age fifteen his father had surprised
him on Christmas Day with a brand new airbrush machine and as Shino
said in his own words” it was over after that”! He started airbrushing
t-shirts, shoes, cars, motorcycles, and also doing body painting. One
day while he was airbrushing a wall for a local tattoo artist he
caught interest. Soon after he moved on to doing tattoos. Shino has
worked in many shops all around New York City but gradually grew his
own clients that would come on a regular basis and that helped him
move forward to work at his own private studio. Every client is amazed
at how young and talented Shinos work is for little time he been
tattooing and every client is booked by appointment ONLY. Shino is
known for his custom work and loves to push his artistic views to the
limit. Shino is mostly known for his black/grey work, personalizing
anything to do with “urban lifestyle”. Shino loves music and has
tattooed various artist in the hip hop industry and worked with many
artist he looks up to like Boogs , Placazo and others Shino has
participated in a few art galleries and tattoo conventions. He took
part in 2010 and 2011 Urban Ink Tattoo Convention held in New York
CIty. He also attended the tattoo conventions in Baltimore, Philly ,
Atlantic City ,Boston and more to come His work has been promoted in
“BLAM DVD”, Concrete Jungle and a few other underground rap videos.
